There are no universal design standards specific to full face snorkel masks. For SVS, Seaview 180 looked beyond the category — drawing from established international safety frameworks to guide design, materials selection, and performance testing. Rather than relying on internal claims alone, SVS was submitted for independent third-party evaluation to ensure it meets recognized safety and performance benchmarks.
BREATHING & AIRFLOW DESIGN
Two factors matter most when evaluating a full face snorkel mask: how well it manages airflow and how effectively it prevents re-breathing of exhaled air.
SVS addresses both through a dual-channel breathing system that separates inhale and exhale air paths.
